SERVICE TO THE UNIVERSITY
Inaugural Committee Member, Oklahoma State University’s Art and Humanities Graduate Colloquium (Fall 2021)
Served as a co-organizer and the main author of the Call for Papers for the inaugural graduate colloquium "On the Brink: Borders, Transitions, and the Body". I additionally acted as the round-table moderator for the colloquium.
Facilitator, NSF Grant Application Workshop (Fall 2021)
Co-facilitated and designed a workshop for students applying to the NSF grant that focused on crafting a personal statement and ensuring a cohesive narrative among all application documents.
Lead Developer, Revising, Editing, Proofreading and Style (REPS) Feedback Tool (Fall 2020-present)
The REPS feedback tool serves the university as a database of short tutorials and activities for instructors and writing tutors to utilize in order to provide more dynamic feedback on student writing. The dynamic student-writing feedback tool partners with The OSU Writing Center, ASSA, and Educational Technologies department to develop feedback resources that are both interactive, multimodal, and provide long-term support for students.
Co-Author, Academic Services for Student-Athletes Facilitator Handbook (Summer 2020)
The Academic Facilitator/Tutor handbook lists training videos and textual resources for working with student-athletes. The handbook was adopted and continues to be utilized across the entirety of the Academic Service for Student-Athletes center and focuses specifically on resources for writing tools and feedback models, student-tutor relations, and guides to digital learning platforms.
